Jennifer heads the DCLaw’s Intellectual Property Department. She advises foreign and local clients on trademark and patent prosecution and copyright protection, including Madrid Protocol and PCT applications. She represents clients in opposition and cancellation proceedings and unfair competition and infringement cases before the Intellectual Property Office and the regular courts. Jennifer also drafts and negotiates contracts such as licensing and technology transfer agreements, franchising and distribution agreements and non-disclosure agreements. Jennifer regularly conducts lectures on IP prosecution in business seminars and conferences.

Prior to joining DCLaw, Jennifer practiced at two boutique IP firms where she gained extensive experience in IP litigation and prosecution. She also had a stint with the Intellectual Property Office where she supervised a trademark examination division and assisted in the Philippines’ accession to the Madrid Protocol and studied its impact on Philippine Trademark Regulations.

From 2004 to 2009, Jennifer also served as a Law Clerk to Hon. Dante O. Tinga, Associate Justice, Supreme Court of the Philippines.
